KBR Reports Fiscal Year 2025 Results, Plans Business Spin-off

KBR, Inc. (NYSE: KBR) has reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and the full fiscal year 2025. For the full year, the company's revenue increased by 1% compared to the prior year, reaching $7.8 billion. Net income grew by 11% to $415 million.
In the fourth quarter, revenue saw an 11% decrease to $1.9 billion, attributed to a slower pace of awards and scope reductions in European commands. However, net income rose by 46% to $111 million, and operating income increased by 36% to $191 million.
The company also announced its strategic intent to spin off its Mission Technology Solutions business segment. The new, independent entity is expected to focus on KBR's high-technology and software-based solutions used in sectors such as aerospace, defense, and space exploration.
Bookings and options for the full fiscal year 2025 totaled $11.1 billion, resulting in a book-to-bill ratio of 1.0x. KBR continues its strategic focus on specialized solutions.
