KBR Expands DoD Test Capabilities with $445 Million Contract
HOUSTON – KBR has received an estimated $445 million contract to support the Joint Mission Environment Test Capability (JMETC) program for the U.S. Department of Defense. The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract was awarded by the U.S. Air Force's 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron.
This recompete for the JMETC program aims to develop and create new knowledge for the Research and Development (R&D) and Science & Technology (S&T) community, supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). The work is expected to be performed over a five-year period across multiple DoD locations.
The JMETC environment provides a test infrastructure designed to conduct joint distributed test events. It cost-effectively integrates live, virtual, and constructive testing elements to enhance the readiness and capabilities of U.S. military branches.
