KBR Supports U.S. Military Operations in Eastern Europe
KBR has secured new contracts with the U.S. Army for logistics support services at three sites in Eastern Europe. The work includes maintenance and material handling.
KBR, Inc. is continuing its long-standing support for the U.S. military in Eastern Europe through newly awarded contracts. The company will provide logistics and support services at three U.S. Army forward maintenance sites located in Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Romania.
The contracts, operating under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP IV) and U.S. Army Europe Support Contracts (USC II), encompass field maintenance, wash rack operations, material handling equipment services, and the provision of a hazardous waste storage area.
KBR's expertise is crucial for maintaining equipment, including tanks and artillery, brought into the theater for training rotations. The company's teams mobilized in November 2015 to establish groundwork in the region, coordinating with the 405th Army Field Support Brigade.
The supported sites include a location near Siauliai, Lithuania; the Novo Selo Training Area near Mokren, Bulgaria; and Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base near Constanta, Romania. KBR has a history of providing extensive support to U.S. military logistics in various regions.
