KBR, Inc. has been awarded a contract by Singapore LNG Corporation (SLNG) to conduct a high-level feasibility study. The study will examine potential expansion options for SLNG's existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal located on Jurong Island in Singapore.

SLNG was established by Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA) to develop, construct, own, and operate the nation's first LNG terminal. This contract represents KBR's initial engagement with SLNG.

Under the agreement, KBR will provide feasible conceptual solutions for SLNG's review and develop a scalable design option. The study is expected to take five months and will be executed by an integrated core team comprising LNG experts from KBR's London and Singapore offices, its subsidiary Granherne, and SLNG's development team.

Singapore's LNG terminal is a critical piece of national infrastructure, and KBR is engaged to support its potential growth.
