KBR, Inc. has been awarded a $156.7 million contract to assess capabilities and implement enhancements for the U.S. Army’s UH-60V Black Hawk utility helicopters. The project is focused on increasing operational availability, improving reliability, and lowering long-term support costs for the fleet.

KBR will partner with Northrop Grumman Corporation to develop technical recommendations and solutions for the Army’s Utility Helicopter Project Office (UHPO). The work is being conducted under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s (DoD IAC) multiple-award contract vehicle.

Awarded by the U.S. Air Force's 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, the task order supports research and development efforts within the defense sector. The initiative is intended to provide long-term technological stability for the UH-60V platform used by both U.S. and allied forces.
