Keesler Federal CEO Marks Decade of Growth
Keesler Federal Credit Union announced CEO Andy Swoger has marked his 10th year leading the institution, a period characterized by significant expansion and success.

BILOXI, Miss. – Keesler Federal Credit Union President and CEO Andy Swoger has celebrated his tenth anniversary leading the credit union, marking a decade of substantial growth for the member-owned financial institution.
The anniversary coincides with the release of an interview with Swoger on the CEO Magazine podcast. In the interview, Swoger attributes the credit union's success to the board's "radical generosity" toward members and a "one team" culture focused on member advocacy. This approach has resulted in member satisfaction ratings that consistently outperform industry competitors.
Under Swoger's leadership, Keesler Federal has seen significant expansion. The credit union's branch network grew from 24 to 54 locations, including a major expansion into New Orleans. Assets have increased from $2.3 billion to $5.3 billion, and membership has grown from 190,000 to 394,000. The employee count has nearly doubled from 440 to over 975.
Brand awareness has also been boosted through major sports sponsorships, including partnerships with the New Orleans Saints and LSU Athletics. This year, Keesler Federal also completed the largest credit union merger in Louisiana and Mississippi history. Furthermore, the credit union was recognized as one of the best in the nation in 2026 by both Forbes and Newsweek magazines.
Swoger stated his greatest pride lies in the consistent member satisfaction scores in the high 80s and 90s over the past decade, alongside an employee Net Promoter Score (NPS) above 90.
