Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Keeway announced yesterday the official market launch of its 650RR model in China. The new motorcycle is equipped with a self-developed 645cc four-cylinder engine, producing a maximum output of 124 horsepower.

The Keeway 650RR is available with a price tag of 33,977 yuan (approximately $4,700 USD) for both the Standard version and a limited production Genesis Edition. The motorcycle's frame is built to WSBK racing standards, contributing to its curb weight of 188 kilograms.

Performance figures indicate an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.4 seconds, with a designed top speed of 260 km/h. The braking system features dual discs with four-piston calipers at the front and a single disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear. Keeway reports a 100-0 km/h braking distance of 38.3 meters and a 200-0 km/h distance of 150 meters, with no significant fade after repeated stops.

The design of the 650RR integrates the engine as a stressed member of the frame, aiming to enhance rigidity while reducing overall weight. The manufacturer has not yet provided details regarding international availability or export markets for the new model.
