Kelvion Delivers Large Tube Liner Project for Saudi Arabian Refinery

Kelvion has successfully delivered a significant project for an advanced refining and petrochemical complex in Saudi Arabia. The two-year contract, valued at over $2.8 million, represents Kelvion’s largest single order to date for its tube liner services.

The project involved the supply and installation of more than 9,000 full-length tube liners made from Hastelloy C-276, an alloy known for its high corrosion resistance. These liners were fitted into several Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger bundles, aiming to enhance the durability and operational reliability of critical process equipment.

Originally planned for on-site execution, the project was moved to Kelvion’s workshop in Jubail. This relocation allowed for tighter quality control, improved safety, and greater efficiency. George Karadontis, local manager at Kelvion, stated that the project is a milestone due to its scale and the trust placed by the client.

Kelvion's involvement began during the budgeting phase, leveraging insights from previous collaborations. The company also presented its tube protection approach at an industry event focused on distillation technologies. This project highlights Kelvion's technical capabilities and the value of long-term partnerships in delivering complex industrial solutions.
