Kelvion Expands Compressor Cooler Offerings for Industrial Gas Compression
Kelvion, a manufacturer of heat exchangers, has expanded its portfolio to include pressure gas coolers. These systems are designed to enhance the efficiency of industrial compressors and handle a range of gases.

Kelvion, a company specializing in heat exchange technology, has introduced updated offerings for its compressor coolers and pressure gas coolers. These components are crucial for improving the efficiency and performance of gas compression systems across various industrial applications.
The company highlighted that its compressor cooling technology has seen continuous development over decades, directly impacting the efficiency of the compressors they are integrated into. Kelvion's pressure gas coolers are designed to meet market demands for gas volumes ranging from 5,000 to approximately 500,000 Nm³/h, operating at pressures up to around 50 bar.
Kelvion's range covers water-cooled pressure gas coolers for industrial gases such as air, oxygen, chlorine, carbon dioxide, helium, hydrogen, and hydrocarbon gases. The company noted that its AFC pressure gas technology specifically enhances the reliability of compression, air-separation, and process technology facilities. The coolers feature enhanced heat transfer, various material and surface protection options for gas-side cooling, and high corrosion-resistant tube materials like stainless steel and titanium.
These cooling solutions are utilized in sectors including liquefied natural gas (LNG) production, pharmaceuticals, and specialty chemicals. Kelvion emphasizes that their extensive design and operating experience underpins the ongoing development of these critical components for industrial processes.
