Kelvion expands offerings for efficient industrial gas compression cooling
Kelvion has enhanced its portfolio of pressure gas coolers, designed to improve the efficiency and reliability of compressor systems across various industrial sectors.

Kelvion is emphasizing its pressure gas cooling technology, a core component that has grown in importance through decades of development and operational experience. The company highlights that the efficiency of compressors is fundamentally tied to the integrated cooler technology.
The company's range of pressure gas cooling systems addresses market requirements for gas volumes from 5,000 to approximately 500,000 Nm³/h, with pressure ranges up to about 50 bar. These systems are designed for industrial gases including air, oxygen, chlorine, carbon dioxide, helium, hydrogen, and gaseous hydrocarbons. Kelvion's AFC pressure gas technology is reported to significantly increase the reliability of compression, air separation, and process technology facilities.
Applications for these coolers span sectors such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), pharmaceuticals, and specialty chemicals. The technology features enhanced heat transfer tube systems, various materials and surface protections for the gas side, and high corrosion resistance with materials like stainless steel and titanium. Safety heat exchangers utilize a double tube system for increased reliability.
Kelvion continues to deliver specialized cooling solutions tailored to the demands of industrial gas compression, focusing on performance and operational integrity.
