Kelvion Launches K°Focus CCS Platform for Carbon Capture Guidance

Kelvion has launched K°Focus Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS), an online platform designed to guide operators in selecting appropriate thermal solutions for efficient and sustainable carbon capture processes. The announcement was made on January 15, 2026.

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is identified as a key technology for reducing carbon dioxide emissions, a primary driver of global warming. The K°Focus CCS platform provides tailored guidance on the critical role of heat transfer in carbon capture. It demonstrates how specific thermal solutions can enhance efficiency and lower operational costs. The platform is structured into three main sections, addressing different capture methodologies.

These sections cover absorption technologies, which are a common method for CO₂ separation; desublimation technologies, where CO₂ transitions directly from gas to solid without a liquid phase; and direct air capture (DAC), which involves extracting CO₂ from ambient air.
