Heat exchange technology firm Kelvion has secured a contract valued at over $800 million to provide cooling infrastructure for large-scale artificial intelligence data centers in the United States. The agreement covers the supply of 1,000 Mega-Bay dry cooler units, with installation slated for completion throughout 2027.

In addition to the primary cooling hardware, the scope of work includes the structural substructures required for the integration of the Mega-Bay systems. The deployment is designed to support 5 GW of heat rejection capacity, addressing the cooling requirements of high-density AI computing environments. The infrastructure will be located in the southern United States, a region currently seeing significant growth in data center development.

CEO Björn Stemmann stated that the scale of current AI infrastructure requirements exceeds previous industry benchmarks. As demand for computing power continues to rise, the ability to provide reliable, scalable cooling has become a defining factor for the viability of hyperscale data centers.
