Kelvion Secures Over $800M Contract for AI Data Center Cooling
Kelvion has secured its largest U.S. contract to date, valued at over $800 million, for cooling solutions for an AI data center. The deal strengthens the company's position in the hyperscale AI infrastructure market.
Kelvion, a provider of thermal management solutions, has been awarded its largest U.S. contract to date, exceeding $800 million, for cooling systems to be deployed in an artificial intelligence data center. This significant deal underscores the company's growing role in supporting the rapidly expanding AI infrastructure sector.
The contract involves the supply of over 1,000 Mega-Bay dry cooler units throughout 2027, along with integrated infrastructure support. The systems are designed to handle 5 GW of heat rejection capacity, crucial for the high-density computing environments required by AI workloads. This project highlights the increasing need for long-term capacity planning as hyperscalers scale their AI operations.
"We are at a pivotal moment where rapid AI growth must be matched by efficient and resilient infrastructure," stated Henry Cubillan, SVP Commercial Americas at Kelvion. "Our work with leading hyperscalers sits at the intersection of the AI boom and the energy transition, and we are proud to help enable both."
Kelvion has secured multiple hyperscale awards in 2026, including custom-engineered dry coolers and critical heat rejection infrastructure. These projects demonstrate the company's capability to deliver advanced cooling solutions essential for high-performance AI data centers, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
