Kelvion Supplies Cooling Solutions for German Media Group Campus
Kelvion is supplying 15 dry coolers for a German media group's new employee campus. The delivery includes solutions for air conditioning, data centers, and emergency power systems.

Kelvion has supplied cooling equipment for a German media group consolidating multiple entertainment brands at its new employee campus. The company selected Kelvion's dry coolers due to their reduced weight, swift delivery, and extensive experience in providing quality cooling solutions.
The project encompasses a total of 15 dry coolers. Ten units, designated for the air conditioning system (six) and the data center (four), feature Kelvion's adiabatic PAD system. This technology utilizes the energy from water evaporation to cool incoming air, achieving low brine outlet temperatures even under high ambient conditions. The remaining five dry coolers are allocated for cooling diesel engines within the emergency power supply system.
Compared to competitors' offerings, Kelvion's dry coolers were lighter, resulting in lower roof loads, and could be delivered to the site rapidly. Two units were airlifted to the rooftop via helicopter, with the rest being lifted by crane. Coordinating delivery to align with construction progress was a critical factor.
Kelvion is also providing gasketed brazed plate heat exchangers for building services, which are being delivered by road. Collaboration among Kelvion's engineering teams in Germany, Poland, and the UK is ensuring the project stays on schedule. The coolers were commissioned and tested in December, with final handover to the customer planned for summer 2022.
