Kemppi Group Establishes Kemplink for Electric Vehicle Charging Cables

Lahti, Finland-based Kemppi Group has established a new subsidiary, Kemplink Ltd., to accelerate the future of electric power transfer. Kemplink designs and manufactures high-power DC fast-charging cables for electric passenger vehicles and heavy-duty transport.

The company is also developing advanced cables, connectors, and supporting systems for future charging infrastructure. Kemplink's products and technology have been under development within Kemppi Group for the past two years.

The establishment of the new company is a response to growing global demand, driven by the green transition, transport electrification, and the need for more efficient charging solutions. Kemplink aims to meet this demand by providing solutions that support faster and more reliable charging for electric vehicles.

Kemppi Group, previously known for its welding solutions, is now significantly expanding into a new growth area with the establishment of Kemplink. The objective is to become a key player in the electric vehicle charging market.
