Kenwal Steel Names Douglas A. Bredy Chief Commercial Officer
Kenwal Steel has promoted Douglas A. Bredy to Chief Commercial Officer. The newly created role will oversee the company's commercial strategy, sales, and purchasing.
Dearborn, Michigan – Kenwal Steel announced the promotion of Douglas A. Bredy to Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately. Bredy joined Kenwal in May 2025 as Vice President of Business Development.
In his new capacity, Bredy will serve as a key member of Kenwal's executive leadership team, with responsibility for the company's commercial operations. This includes sales, purchasing, business development, and commercial strategy. The newly created role signifies Kenwal's ongoing investment in its leadership structure, aiming to consolidate all commercial functions under a single executive.

Bredy brings 33 years of experience in the steel industry, having previously held leadership positions at Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Olympic Steel, and Arcelor Mittal. He joined Kenwal Steel in 2025. Founded in 1947, Kenwal Steel operates as one of North America's leading privately held flat-rolled steel service centers.
