Kenyan Travel-Fintech Startup Afrinity Joins FasterCapital Program
Nairobi-based startup Afrinity has been selected for FasterCapital's EquityPilot program, aimed at refining its execution strategies and preparing for product launch. The program will focus on key business and product milestones.
Kenyan travel-fintech startup Afrinity has joined FasterCapital’s EquityPilot programme, a move designed to refine its execution priorities and strengthen its market entry strategy. The initiative will also align initial product milestones for deployment and user acquisition.
Founded by Joseph Peters, Afrinity operates from Nairobi. Its platform integrates African travel experiences with embedded fintech tools for savings, budgeting, currency conversion, and transactions. The company emphasizes community engagement and youth-generated content to promote local experiences and economic participation.
FasterCapital, a global venture builder and online incubator, will guide Afrinity through the initial 30-60 days of the program. The focus will be on clarifying business priorities, enhancing go-to-market messaging, and setting product development targets.
