Kering Appoints New CEOs for Ginori 1735 and Brioni

Luxury group Kering announced on Tuesday the appointment of new chief executive officers for two of its prominent brands. Mehdi Benabadji will transition to lead Ginori 1735, while Federico Arrigoni has been named the new CEO of Brioni, effective May 6, 2025.

Benabadji previously served as CEO of Brioni since 2020, overseeing a successful operational reorganization and achieving strong growth in the luxury menswear sector. Kering expects his expertise in strategic transformation and international development to spearhead Ginori 1735's next expansion phase and elevate its standing in the global luxury lifestyle and homeware market.

Arrigoni joins Brioni from Kering’s Saint Laurent, where he most recently held the position of Deputy CEO and President, Asia Pacific. With extensive experience within the Kering group, including roles at Gucci and Saint Laurent since joining in 2006, his international and commercial background is expected to further consolidate Brioni’s global positioning and desirability.

Benabadji will report to Kering Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer Jean-Marc Duplaix, and Arrigoni will report to Kering Deputy CEO for Brand Development, Francesca Bellettini. These leadership changes signal Kering's continued focus on strengthening executive talent across its luxury portfolio.
