Kering Eyewear, the luxury eyewear division of the Kering Group, has acquired the Italian manufacturer Lenti. This acquisition is intended to bolster Kering Eyewear's in-house production capacity and industrial footprint.

Lenti, based in Bergamo, Italy, employs approximately 100 individuals and specializes in molding and surface treatments for lenses. The company supplies lenses for various applications, including sunglasses, visors, and protective components for the lighting, automotive, and motorcycle industries.

The acquisition aligns with Kering Eyewear's strategy for industrial development, aiming to establish in-house capabilities for creating high-quality, technically innovative, and high-performance "Made in Italy" sun lenses.

"We have appreciated the excellence of Lenti’s products for many years, and we are very proud to see it now joining Kering Eyewear," said Roberto Vedovotto, Founder, President, and CEO of Kering Eyewear. "It provides an additional area of expertise to our platform of best-in-class manufacturing skills, facilities, and, more than anything else, talents."
