Kering Proposes Two New Directors to Board

Luxury group Kering announced on Tuesday that it will propose the appointment of two independent directors, Marie-Hélène Chenut and Laurent Kleitman, to its Board of Directors at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on May 28, 2026.

Marie-Hélène Chenut brings over 35 years of international experience from Chanel, holding leadership roles in marketing, business development, and personnel development. She led the group's haute couture division for her final nine years. Laurent Kleitman has over 30 years of international leadership experience in the luxury, beauty, and consumer goods sectors and currently serves as Group Chief Executive and Director of Mandarin Oriental.

In parallel, Jean-Pierre Denis has submitted his resignation as a Director, effective at the close of the May 28, 2026, Annual General Meeting. Denis has been a member of Kering's Board since 2008 and previously served as Chairman of the Audit Committee for eight years.

If approved, the Board will comprise 13 members, with women making up 45% and independent directors accounting for 64% of the total. The Board will also represent five different nationalities.
