Kering Reports Return to Growth in Second Quarter 2026

Luxury group Kering announced on Tuesday that its revenue returned to growth in the second quarter of 2026, rising 2% on a comparable basis. The company reported revenue of €3.65 billion for the quarter, signaling progress in its strategic execution and a sequential improvement in performance.

For the first half of 2026, Kering's total revenue reached €7.22 billion, up 1% on a comparable basis. The company highlighted a marked acceleration at Gucci, with its retail sales up 7 percentage points compared to the previous quarter. This improvement is attributed to recent actions taken to enhance brand desirability and commercial momentum.

The group's operating performance also saw enhancement, with a recurring operating margin of 12.8%, amounting to €921 million. Kering has also significantly reduced its net debt to €3.3 billion, down from €8 billion at the end of 2025.

Several Kering brands, including Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta, demonstrated strong sequential improvement in the second quarter. Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen are undergoing creative transitions, but the company anticipates future performance improvements for these houses.
