Kering Reports Stable First-Quarter Revenue Amid Strategic Focus

Luxury group Kering reported stable revenue for the first quarter of 2026, amounting to €3,568 million, unchanged on a comparable basis from the previous year. The company characterized the performance as a "gradual improvement" and stressed its commitment to executing its strategy amid a challenging geopolitical environment.

Nearly all of Kering’s Houses achieved growth during the quarter, with the jewelry division showing a particularly strong performance, with comparable sales up 22 percent. The Fashion & Leather Goods segment experienced a 3 percent decline on a comparable basis, though the company noted this reflects a sequential improvement.

Gucci, Kering's largest brand, saw its revenue decrease by 8 percent on a comparable basis. However, the company reported an 8 percent increase in North America, suggesting early signs of traction from its strategic reset. Other brands like Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and Brioni reported year-on-year growth.

Kering announced that it completed significant transactions in beauty, jewelry, and real estate, which it stated sharpened the Group's focus and strengthened its balance sheet. The company is scheduled to present its strategic roadmap, "ReconKering," at its Capital Markets Day in Florence on April 16.
