Kering, formerly known as PPR, announced first-quarter 2011 revenue of €3.7 billion, marking a 9.1% increase on a reported basis and 6.5% on a comparable basis compared to the prior-year period.
The Luxury Goods division led the growth with a 26.2% surge in revenue. The Sport & Lifestyle segment also contributed significantly, posting a 13% increase. Combined, the Luxury and Sport & Lifestyle businesses saw reported revenue rise by 20.6% and comparable revenue by 14.7%.
