Luxury goods conglomerate Kering has announced an agreement to begin a staged acquisition of Raselli Franco Group, an Italian manufacturer of fine and high jewelry. The move is part of Kering's strategy to enhance control over its luxury houses' value chains and support long-term growth.

Founded in 1969, Raselli Franco Group is recognized for its expertise in jewelry prototyping and production, serving leading luxury brands. The company manages the entire value chain, from sourcing raw materials and precious stones to R&D, design, assembly, and quality control, utilizing advanced casting and CNC machining techniques.

Kering already operates several jewelry houses, including Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, and Qeelin. This acquisition is expected to bolster the group's production capabilities and expertise within the jewelry sector.

The transaction will commence with Kering acquiring an initial 20% stake in the first quarter of 2026 for €115 million. The agreement outlines a pathway for Kering to achieve full ownership by 2032, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
