HELSINKI – Retail giant Kesko has received significant recognition for its sustainability efforts by being included in the Dow Jones global sustainability indices. As of May 2026 announcements, Kesko is among the companies recognized in the DJ BIC World and DJ BIC Europe indices.
The company is now one of five in its industry globally to be included in the Best-in-Class World index and one of two European companies in the Best-in-Class Europe index. This placement underscores Kesko's strengthened position on sustainability matters internationally.
The Dow Jones global sustainability indices assess companies' performance on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. Inclusion in these indices requires a high standard of sustainability practice and continuous development.
