Kesko reports profit growth for Q3 as technical trade leads performance
Kesko's comparable operating profit rose to €231.4 million in the third quarter of 2026, driven by strong gains in the building and technical trade division.

Finnish retail conglomerate Kesko reported a comparable operating profit of €231.4 million for the third quarter of 2026, up from €208.1 million in the same period last year. Net sales grew by 4.7% on a comparable basis, totaling €3.4 billion for the three-month period.
The company’s performance was notably supported by the building and technical trade division, which offset broader economic challenges. CEO Jorma Rauhala stated that growth occurred across all divisions, with technical trade serving as the primary catalyst for the improved bottom line.
Following the results, Kesko narrowed its profit guidance for 2026, raising the lower bound of its estimate to a range of €690 million to €730 million. Looking ahead, the company anticipates an improved market environment across its operating countries in 2027, with expectations for continued growth in net sales and profitability.
