Kesko signs major IT service agreements with new partners

Finnish retailer Kesko Oyj has finalized a series of extensive IT service agreements with several key technology providers. This marks the largest IT services transformation in the company's history, consolidating its IT operations with fewer, strategically chosen partners.

The multi-year agreements involve Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), CGI, Elisa, Futurice, Nitor, and Fujitsu. These partnerships will cover nearly all of K Group's IT service areas, including application management, SAP services, cybersecurity, AI solutions, capacity and integration services, and user support.

Kesko stated that the IT services overhaul is intended to accelerate business transformation, enhance digital competitiveness, and improve customer experience. The company aims to secure access to top-tier resources and expertise to underpin K Group's future growth and competitive standing.

This strategic shift is expected to facilitate quicker adoption of new technologies like AI-driven customer solutions and automation, ultimately improving the digital shopping experience and providing data-driven support across Kesko's business divisions.
