Kesko starts construction of new K-Auto facilities in Helsinki and Vantaa

Kesko Oyj has commenced two major construction projects for its car dealership business. The K-Auto Helsinki showroom in Herttoniemi is being completely revamped, and a new large-scale damage repair unit is being constructed in Vantaa.

The Herttoniemi facility in Helsinki will be renovated, with completion expected by summer 2026. The new showroom will consolidate multiple car brands, including Volkswagen, CUPRA, and Porsche, along with Audi. The existing Volkswagen showroom will be repurposed for used car sales. Furthermore, Finland's largest Porsche service center will be established.

A new, modern, and large-scale damage repair unit is set to be completed in Vantaa by autumn 2025. This two-story facility will include covered parking for up to 140 vehicles and is strategically located near K-Auto's airport showroom complex.

Johanna Ali, President of Kesko's car trade division, stated that the company is investing in a multichannel operating model integrating sales, service, and damage repair, both digitally and physically. These investments aim to enhance customer experience and support growth in the evolving car trade market.

The projects emphasize energy efficiency, with customer facilities designed to meet international brand standards. The Vantaa repair unit will be built to comply with BREEAM environmental certification criteria.
