Retail group Kesko is scheduled to publish its third quarter 2025 financial results on October 30. The company has previously highlighted key events from the past quarter, including strategic developments and operational updates.
In late September, Kesko hosted an investor event focused on strategy and logistics. President and CEO Jorma Rauhala and CFO Anu Hämäläinen presented on strategy execution and financials, with detailed insights into the new Onnela logistics center and the company's grocery trade logistics.
Kesko also entered into a significant set of IT service agreements during the third quarter. These multi-year partnerships cover nearly all K Group IT service areas, including application management, SAP services, cybersecurity, AI solutions, and cloud services. The agreements aim to accelerate the adoption of new technologies.
The company also opened its first entirely new K-Citymarket hypermarket in eight years in early September. The 7,000-square-meter store, located in Lempäälä, Finland, features a selection of over 20,000 food items and emphasizes shopping convenience, including a 24/7 click-and-collect service for online grocery orders.
