Kesko's September Sales Rose 4.8 Percent
Kesko reported a 4.8 percent increase in sales for September, reaching a total of €1.198 billion. Growth was observed across all three divisions: grocery, building and technical trade, and car trade.
Kesko's sales increased by 4.8 percent in September compared to the previous year, totaling €1.198 billion. The growth was distributed across all three of the company's main business divisions.
The grocery trade division reported sales of €557.5 million, a 2.2 percent increase. Sales in the building and technical trade division rose by 6.5 percent to €515.3 million. On a comparable basis, this represented a 5.3 percent increase, with technical trade showing particular strength at an 8.7 percent comparable growth.
The car trade division's sales reached €128.1 million, an increase of 9.9 percent. Growth in both new and used car sales, as well as services, contributed to a 12.3 percent rise in car trade revenue.
For the January-September period, Kesko Group's total sales amounted to €10.04 billion, marking a 6.2 percent increase. The comparable growth for the period was 4.6 percent. The company noted sales growth in both Finland and other countries where it operates.
