Kesla Defence receives 17 million euro order from NATO country
Kesla Oyj's defence division, KESLA Defence, has secured a significant order valued at approximately EUR 17 million for its KESLA Kerberos multi-purpose concept from a NATO country's defence forces.

Finnish technology company Kesla Oyj announced on March 23, 2026, that its defence division, KESLA Defence, has received a substantial order worth approximately EUR 17 million. The order comes from the defence forces of an undisclosed NATO country and is for the KESLA Kerberos multi-purpose concept.
Deliveries are scheduled to commence in early summer 2026 and conclude by spring 2027. Approximately EUR 7 million of the total order value is anticipated to be recognized within the 2026 financial year. The contract also encompasses maintenance, spare parts, and user training services.
The KESLA Kerberos concept was developed for military engineering operations in both rural and urban settings. Paired with a tractor, it forms a versatile unit capable of supporting mobility, countermobility, and logistics operations in challenging terrain. International sales efforts for the concept have been ongoing for nearly two years, with Kerberos units currently in active or test use in three countries.
KESLA Defence, established in early 2025, leverages Kesla's decades of expertise in forestry machinery. The current geopolitical climate and Finland's NATO membership have reportedly opened new export avenues. The company highlights growing international interest in multi-purpose tractor-based platform solutions that offer logistical flexibility and cost-effectiveness compared to traditional military vehicle chassis.
