Kesla Oyj Initiates Divestment Process for Tractor Equipment
Kesla Oyj's board has decided to initiate a divestment process for its tractor-mounted civil application equipment product group. The company will focus more strongly on developing the Kesla Defence product group.

Kesla Oyj has commenced a process to explore the divestment of its tractor equipment product group. The company's board has decided to initiate a divestment process specifically for tractor-mounted equipment intended for civil applications. This decision aims to ensure sufficient resources for the development and enhanced delivery capacity of the Kesla Defence product group.
The move is part of Kesla's broader business and structural review process, announced in December 2025. This review encompasses the entire group, and further decisions will be communicated separately. The progress of the divestment process for tractor equipment and any resulting corporate arrangements will be announced in due course. Kesla will retain the product rights related to Defence applications and other non-tractor-mounted applications.
The divestment process is expected to be completed within 2026. CEO Pasi Nieminen stated that Kesla's strategy involves concentrating on areas where the company possesses clear competitive advantages. The outlook in the defense industry is considered strong, warranting increased focus on developing the Kesla Defence product group. The divestment of tractor equipment was concluded to be the best solution for the overall business.
