Kesla Oyj: Revenue Down in 2025, Company Focuses on Business Recovery
Forestry equipment manufacturer Kesla Oyj reported a 22.4% decrease in revenue for 2025. The company has initiated a process to strengthen its business operations and financial position.

Forestry equipment manufacturer Kesla Oyj reported a 22.4% decrease in revenue for the 2025 financial year, reaching EUR 34.4 million. The operating result turned negative, amounting to EUR -4.9 million, compared to a profit of EUR 38 thousand in the previous year.
Order intake decreased by 2.8% during the financial year, reflecting broader market uncertainty. Earnings per share were EUR -1.32, down from EUR -0.15 a year prior. The company's performance was impacted by global economic uncertainty, trade policy shifts, and reduced demand in the forestry and agricultural sectors.
In late 2025, Kesla began a process to streamline its business and assess its financial standing, aiming to secure its competitiveness after a challenging year. While civil markets remain difficult, the company sees opportunities in the defense sector through its newly established KESLA Defence product group.
Furthermore, Kesla announced a significant contract for its Kerberos multi-purpose trailers with the defense forces of a NATO country, valued at approximately EUR 17 million. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in June 2026 and will span approximately one year. This order is expected to significantly improve factory utilization and the company's financial situation.
