Key IoT Provides Connectivity for Fieldmark AI Farm Technology Trial
Key IoT Limited has supplied 30 IoT SIM cards to Fieldmark AI for a six-month field trial of connected farm monitoring technology.
Key IoT Limited is supporting Fieldmark AI’s agricultural technology development by providing 30 IoT SIM cards for a six-month trial. The initiative aims to test the reliability of battery-powered Reolink cameras in rural environments where network connectivity is often inconsistent.
Fieldmark AI is developing systems for land management and data collection, relying on cameras to transmit information from remote farm locations. Previous concept testing demonstrated that Key IoT’s single-network SIMs improved signal stability, prompting this extended trial period to assess operational performance in real-world conditions.
Director of Fieldmark AI, Mark Carr, stated that the availability of these SIMs allows the team to evaluate how the camera setup performs over an extended duration. The trial marks a transition from initial prototype testing to practical implementation, helping the company refine its approach to farm data capture.
