Keychron has added the J3 SE to its keyboard lineup, featuring a 96 percent layout and cross-platform compatibility.
Peripheral manufacturer Keychron has launched the J3 SE mechanical keyboard, a 96 percent layout device designed for both macOS and Windows integration. The unit features 99 keys with dual-system character engravings on the keycaps to accommodate different operating systems.
The hardware includes a hot-swappable PCB paired with the company's proprietary linear switches. Internal construction utilizes an FR4 mounting plate along with multi-layer dampening material. Power is supplied by a 4000 mAh battery, which the company claims provides approximately 200 hours of wireless operation with backlighting disabled.
Connectivity options include USB-C and a 2.4 GHz wireless connection, both supporting a 1 kHz polling rate. The J3 SE is currently priced at $129.99.
