Keychron Unveils G6 HE UltraLight Mouse with Magnetic Optical Switches
Keychron has launched its new G6 HE UltraLight mouse, featuring a symmetrical ergonomic design and MagOptic magnetic optical switches. The mouse is available with either a fixed or modular interchangeable battery.

Chinese technology firm Keychron has announced its new G6 HE UltraLight mouse. The device sports a symmetrical ergonomic design, measuring 123.7x63x41 mm, and is powered by a Nordic nRF54LM20A controller paired with a PixArt PAW3955 optical sensor.
The headline feature of the G6 HE UltraLight is its MagOptic magnetic optical switches for the left and right buttons. These new 100-million-click lifespan switches are designed to offer the fine-tuning capabilities of magnetic switches while providing the crisp physical feedback of traditional mechanical switches.
Users can opt for a version with a built-in fixed battery, weighing 42g, or a modular version with an interchangeable battery, weighing 46g. The latter can be further customized with optional weights to reach 52g or 62g. The 350mAh battery offers up to 340 hours of use in Bluetooth mode and approximately 35 hours at an 8kHz polling rate in 2.4GHz mode.
The mouse casing utilizes a combination of ABS and PC materials, coated with an anti-slip nano coating. It is available in black, white, and five frosted semi-transparent color options. The fixed battery model is exclusive to the black variant. The introductory price is 11,968 Japanese Yen (approximately $76 USD) for the fixed battery version and 14,344 Yen (approximately $91 USD) for the interchangeable battery model.
Keychron aims to deliver a versatile and durable gaming mouse that blends new technology with user-preferred features, expanding its product line beyond its well-known keyboards.
