KFC Reintroduces Popcorn Chicken Due to Fan Demand

Fast-food chain KFC has reintroduced its popular Popcorn Chicken nationwide following over three years of customer demand. The item, first introduced in the 1990s and removed from menus in 2023, is now available for a limited time.

KFC stated that it has listened to customer feedback and social media requests. "We read every comment, every DM, and the message was impossible to ignore," said Melissa Cash, Chief Marketing Officer for KFC U.S. The company aims to combine nostalgia with brand modernization through this move.

The Popcorn Chicken is being offered in three package sizes: a 16-ounce bucket with four dipping sauces for $10, a Popcorn Chicken Big Box for $10.99, and a Popcorn Chicken Combo for $8.49. All portions are available while supplies last.

KFC has also partnered with GIPHY to create Popcorn Chicken-themed GIFs featuring the brand's founder, Colonel Sanders. These GIFs are intended for use on social media and as reactions in online conversations.
