KfW Presents 2025 Financial Results

Frankfurt – KfW presented its 2025 annual financial results on March 27, 2026, during its annual press conference. CEO Stefan Wintels and CFO Bernd Loewen provided an overview of the bank's performance for the fiscal year.
The press conference also detailed the new "Deutschlandfonds" (Germany Fund), designed to encourage substantial private and municipal investments within Germany. The federal government is backing the fund with approximately EUR 30 billion in public funds and guarantees, which is projected to stimulate total investments amounting to around EUR 130 billion.
Furthermore, KfW announced the establishment of a raw materials fund. This initiative aims to bolster the supply of raw materials for German companies, enhance supply chain resilience, and strengthen the overall economic robustness of the country. KfW will serve as the central point of contact and investor advisor for both of these new funds.
The bank's disclosures were made as part of its regular yearly briefing, where its operational outcomes and future strategic directions are communicated.
