Kia America reports record sales for sixth consecutive month

Kia America achieved a record total sales volume of 80,008 units in October, representing a 16% increase over its previous monthly record. Retail sales reached 68,926 units, reflecting a 20% year-over-year growth. This marks the sixth consecutive month that the company has reported record-breaking sales figures.

Growth was significantly driven by the electrified and hybrid vehicle segments, which saw sales increases of 112% and 114% respectively. Multiple core models, including the Telluride, Seltos, and Sportage, reached their highest October sales volume to date. According to Eric Watson, vice president of sales operations, the company’s expansion of its hybrid lineup and the rollout of new electric models have been instrumental in sustaining this trajectory.

Concurrent with the sales data, the company has introduced the 2027 model year EV3 to its U.S. dealership network. Management anticipates the current momentum to persist through the final quarter of the year.
