Kia America Reports Record September and Quarterly Sales
Kia America achieved its best-ever September and third-quarter sales totals. Overall September sales reached 77,009 units, an 18% year-over-year increase, while quarterly sales hit 236,659 units, up 8%.

Kia America has reported its strongest sales performance for both the month of September and the third quarter of the year, setting new company records. September's total sales volume reached 77,009 vehicles, marking an 18 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The third quarter concluded with 236,659 units sold, an 8 percent rise from the previous third-quarter record.
Retail sales also saw significant growth, increasing by 19 percent in September and 9 percent over the quarter. A key driver of this success was the surge in sales for Kia's hybrid and electrified models, which grew by 152 percent and 60 percent, respectively, year-over-year. Eight core models, including the Telluride, Seltos, and Sportage, contributed substantially with double-digit sales increases.
The company also highlighted recent accolades, including two models recognized by Green Car Journal and the Telluride receiving a top safety rating. Kia emphasized its broad range of hybrid vehicles, noting it offers the second-largest lineup in the industry.
These record sales figures position Kia America to achieve its fourth consecutive annual sales record. The strong performance throughout the first three quarters indicates continued momentum for the brand as it heads into the final months of the year.
