Kia names UK locations for electric van sales and service centres

Kia UK has revealed the designated locations for its network of Professional Business Van (PBV) centres, which will exclusively handle sales and after-sales services for the company's upcoming range of electric commercial vehicles. These specialized centres, operated by selected commercial vehicle partners, are scheduled to be fully operational by late 2025.

The establishment of this network coincides with the initial deliveries of the Kia PV5, the brand's first fully electric van, in the UK. The PV5 will only be available through these dedicated PBV centres. Kia projects selling between 3,000 to 4,000 PV5 units in its first full year, with ambitions to reach approximately 17,000 PBV sales annually by 2030.

Each PBV centre will feature dedicated facilities, including a sales area with display vehicles, a service reception, a workshop equipped with high-capacity ramps and specialized Kia equipment, and trained staff. The selected partners have been chosen for their expertise in serving commercial vehicle customers.

Paul Philpott, President and CEO of Kia UK, stated that the new centre network will leverage existing partnerships within Kia's dealer network. Most PBV centres will be managed by current partners, operating as standalone facilities, linked to multi-brand van centres, or located at existing Kia dealerships. This approach aims to capitalize on Kia's established experience in serving fleet and business customers.
