Kia has unveiled the PV7, the second vehicle in its dedicated, all-electric Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) lineup. The PV7 is engineered to provide enhanced space, flexibility, and capability for both commercial use and passenger transport.
The PV7 will be available in two configurations: PV7 Passenger, which emphasizes flexible seating arrangements and long-distance comfort, and PV7 Cargo, optimized for freight. The cargo variant offers up to 3.11 meters of cargo length and a total volume of 4.5 cubic meters, which can be expanded with removable rear seats.
With its PBV range, Kia aims to address the growing demand for electric commercial vehicles adaptable to various business needs. The company states that the PV7's battery capacity supports a driving range of up to 400 kilometers and can achieve a 10-80% charge in 30 minutes using 400V charging.
Additional features include an external power outlet for devices, robust charging ports, and the ability to function as a mobile power source. Kia anticipates the PV7 will effectively complement its existing PBV offerings and strengthen its market presence in the electric commercial vehicle sector.
