Kia Seltos Enhances Safety with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

Kia has introduced its new Seltos model with a strong emphasis on driving safety. The vehicle is equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Level 2, offering 21 autonomous safety features. These functions are designed to assist the driver with monitoring, identifying risks, and intervening when necessary. Key ADAS features include Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Front Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – Reverse. A Blind View Monitor is also included.

The Seltos is built upon the K3 platform, engineered with high-strength steel. This enhances structural rigidity and improves the vehicle's ability to absorb crash energy. The robust construction is intended to improve occupant protection during impacts. Standard equipment includes six airbags, covering front, side, and curtain areas, providing comprehensive protection for all passengers.

Furthermore, the vehicle features all-wheel disc brakes and rear parking sensors. The Kia Seltos aims to deliver a comprehensive safety experience by combining intelligent driver assistance systems, a strong body structure, and extensive passenger protection. The company highlights that safety is a primary feature, not an afterthought.
