Kia Syros Achieves 5-Star Safety Rating in India's Bharat NCAP Test

The Kia Syros SUV has achieved the highest possible 5-star safety rating in India's official Bharat NCAP crash tests. This designation highlights the vehicle's robust construction and its ability to protect occupants during collisions.

Bharat NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) evaluates vehicle safety based on rigorous protocols tailored to Indian road conditions. The Syros scored particularly well in adult occupant protection, achieving 30.21 out of 32 points, and in child occupant protection, scoring 44.42 out of 49 points. These high scores reflect the vehicle's capacity to absorb impact energy and maintain cabin integrity.

The model features comprehensive safety systems, including an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) Level 2 with multiple autonomous functions. Standard equipment also comprises six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Hill-Start Assist. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a Blind View Monitor and a 360-degree camera to enhance visibility and help prevent minor incidents.

The Kia Syros's safety is further reinforced by its strong structural design, utilizing a high-strength steel body and Kia's K1 platform. This construction is engineered to effectively absorb and dissipate crash forces, ensuring optimal passenger protection. The SUV provides a high standard of safety and driving comfort for India's demanding road conditions.
