IT service company Siili Solutions Plc has appointed Kimmo Kuusinen as Senior UX Designer. This move strengthens the company's focus on user experience (UX) design for digital services.
Kuusinen, 36, specializes in designing the user experience for client digital service platforms. His work involves understanding end-users' needs and creating solutions that effectively meet them. This often requires deep immersion in the client's operational environment, whether serving home care nurses or miners.
"I love it when I can get a decisive clue from the client as to why something in the interface is not working. The insight comes when I combine the information from the client or feedback from the users with my own expertise," Kuusinen stated.
Kuusinen's IT career path has been varied. He initially studied information technology but found traditional programming unengaging. His interest in interface design grew through practical projects, eventually leading him to UX design. He previously worked at Haallas, which is now part of Siili Solutions.
The company states that Kuusinen's appointment supports its strategy to offer clients deep expertise in digital service development.
