King Felipe VI to Present Enrique V. Iglesias Award to Dionisio Gutiérrez

King Felipe VI of Spain is scheduled to present the 11th Enrique V. Iglesias Award to Dionisio Gutiérrez, President of Fundación Libertad y Desarrollo, during a ceremony in Madrid on November 4. The award, which was initially granted in June 2025, honors Gutiérrez's work in strengthening democratic institutions and fostering economic development across Ibero-America.

A well-known businessman and media personality, Gutiérrez hosts the Razón de Estado program, which advocates for the rule of law and social progress in the region. The award is managed by the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI) to recognize individuals who have significantly contributed to the region's economic and business environment.

Attendees at the event include André Esteves, Chairman of BTG Pactual, and leadership from CEAPI. Established in 2014 and named after the first Ibero-American Secretary-General, the award has previously recognized prominent figures including Ana Botín and Carlos Slim.
