Kingsmen Resources expands geochemical data review at Silvia and La Plata zones
Kingsmen Resources Ltd. has reported additional results from its ongoing exploration program at the Las Coloradas project in Mexico. The company has conducted an extensive geochemical data review of samples from the Silvia and La Plata zones.
Kingsmen Resources Ltd. has expanded its exploration efforts at the 100%-owned Las Coloradas project in Chihuahua, Mexico, reporting new details from geochemical analyses of the Silvia and La Plata zones. These expanded analyses aim to refine the understanding of mineral deposit potential and guide future drilling.
The Silvia and La Plata zones are situated on a northeast-trending structural corridor north of the northwest-trending Soledad/Soledad II systems. The Silvia zone lies at the intersection of these zones and the Soledad structures. The La Plata zone displays northeast, northwest, and north-trending structures, with the latter potentially indicating buried quartz porphyry intrusions.
The company reviewed geochemical data from recent sampling to identify optimal drill targets. The analyses indicate that several "pathfinder" elements vary significantly with silver concentrations. These variations are interpreted as evidence of distinct mineralization pulses and potentially different styles of mineralization within and at depth along the structures.
The detailed geochemical results, including silver, lead, zinc, copper, gold, antimony, tellurium, bismuth, mercury, and arsenic, help delineate potential mineralization. Notably, antimony and tellurium distributions suggest the possibility of discovering "blind" silver and gold deposits. The company plans to utilize these findings in its upcoming drilling campaign to further assess the mining potential of the Las Coloradas project.
