Kissht Board Approves ₹832 Crore Preferential Share Issue
Non-banking financial company Kissht has received board approval to raise up to ₹832.2 crore through a preferential issue of equity shares to 34 investors.

Non-banking financial company Kissht announced that its board has approved a plan to raise up to ₹832.2 crore via a preferential issue of equity shares. The company intends to issue approximately 26.5 million shares at a price of ₹314.11 per share to 34 identified investors.
Major investors participating in this round include Axis Flexi Cap Fund, Axis Multi Cap Fund, and Axis Small Cap Fund, collectively investing close to ₹200 crore. Additionally, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, through two entities, will invest approximately ₹85 crore.
This fundraising initiative follows Kissht's successful stock exchange debut four months prior, where it listed at a premium. The preferential issue, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals, aims to strengthen the company's capital base.
Founded in 2015, Kissht operates as a lending tech platform providing digital personal and business loans up to ₹5 lakh, alongside insurance products. The company reported a 59% increase in net profit to ₹95.1 crore in Q1 FY27, with operating revenue rising nearly 45% to ₹669.5 crore in the same period.
