Kitzbühel will host the 78th Generali Open ATP tennis tournament from July 23 to July 30, 2022. The event will feature several top international players.

The Alpine town of Kitzbühel is once again transforming into a venue for world-class tennis for one week. The 78th Generali Open Kitzbühel tournament is scheduled to take place from July 23 to July 30, 2022, attracting professional players and tennis fans to the "Gamsstadt".
The tournament boasts an attractive and international roster of players. The entry list includes several top 25 ranked clay-court specialists from the ATP World Tour. Among them is last year's singles champion, Norway's Casper Ruud, who aims to defend his title. Italian player Matteo Berrettini (world rank 15), Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut (rank 20), and French professional Gael Monfils have also confirmed their participation. Austrian star Dominic Thiem is also set to compete.
Tournament director Alexander Antonitsch promises a week filled with excitement and emotion. Matches will commence daily at 11:00 AM. Beyond the courts, the Kitzbühel Tennis Club (KTC) will offer additional programming, including Huber's Weißwurst-Frühschoppen on Sunday, July 24, and Krone Ladies Day on Tuesday, July 26.
