Kitzbühel Tourism is hosting a culinary cooperation event, KITZ Kulinarik x Piemont, for the second time in mid-October, pairing local Kitzbühel specialties with those from the Italian region of Piedmont. The event will take place in Kitzbühel's city park from October 13th to 16th, 2022.
The four-day event aims to highlight high-quality products and dedicated restaurateurs from both regions. Visitors can expect to sample Kitzbühel delicacies alongside specialties from Alba, including its renowned white truffles, hazelnuts, rice, and wines from the Langhe territory such as Barolo and Barbaresco.
In addition to tastings, the program includes live music on Friday and Saturday evenings and a gourmet market on Saturday offering regional products and crafts. Free workshops on Piedmontese rice and wines will also be offered, alongside an optional tasting tour of various Piedmontese offerings.
This collaboration is part of Kitzbühel's ongoing brand development process, emphasizing culinary experiences as a key aspect of the region's appeal. The event follows similar successful partnerships aimed at enriching the local tourism offering.
